Tapana Catamaran Racha Noi Island 3 Days / 2 Nights Dive Cruise
Tapana Catamaran offers a liveaboard cruise exploring the waters around Phuket aboard a spacious and comfortable vessel. Depending on the schedule, guests can choose between a 3-day / 2-night cruise focusing on Racha Noi Island, or a longer 4-day / 3-night itinerary extending from Racha Noi Island to the Phi Phi Islands. The boat features spacious cabins equipped with private toilets and hot showers, along with premium onboard facilities including a hydraulic diving platform and relaxing jacuzzi areas designed for maximum comfort during the cruise. Guests can also enjoy freshly prepared international cuisine by the onboard chef, making the time spent between dives just as enjoyable as the diving itself. After returning to the harbor, guests stay onboard for one additional night, eliminating the need to arrange a hotel and making the trip easy and convenient to participate in.

Phuket has two main diving seasons: the dry season (high season) from around November to April, and the green season from around May to October. During the green season, the southwest monsoon can occasionally bring stronger waves to offshore areas. However, Racha Noi Island often enjoys crystal-clear blue water and excellent visibility during this time, offering a unique seasonal diving experience.
The waters around Racha Noi are known for dramatic underwater topography with giant granite boulders, where divers may encounter manta rays and eagle rays. On the island’s sheltered eastern side, calm bays and white sandy bottoms provide relaxed diving conditions suitable for beginners and divers returning after a long break. Leopard sharks resting on the sand and a variety of macro marine life are also popular highlights.
Around the Phi Phi Islands, many dive sites are protected by dramatic limestone cliffs, allowing for comfortable diving even during the green season when conditions are favorable. With beautiful underwater scenery, abundant marine life, and diverse topography, Phi Phi remains one of the most popular diving areas near Phuket.
Please note that trips to the Phi Phi Islands involve longer cruising distances. Guests who are concerned about seasickness are recommended to join during periods of calmer sea conditions.

Departing at night from Rassada Pier on the eastern side of Phuket, this special green season liveaboard cruise explores either Racha Noi Island alone or a combined itinerary including both Racha Noi and the Phi Phi Islands.
After an overnight cruise of approximately three hours, the boat arrives at the dive sites around Racha Noi the following morning. Although Racha Noi is already a popular destination for day trips, this cruise also visits the island’s remote southern area, which is rarely accessible on regular diving tours.
One of the highlights of the green season is the crystal-clear blue water and peaceful atmosphere, allowing divers to fully relax and enjoy the underwater world. Dive sites include popular locations such as Banana Bay and Racha Noi Garden, while the dramatic offshore site South Tip may also be visited when sea conditions are favorable. Encounters with eagle rays, leopard sharks, schools of barracuda, and fusiliers make this area especially popular among wide-angle diving enthusiasts.
Trips extending to the Phi Phi Islands offer dramatic limestone cliffs, beautiful bays, and the stunning underwater scenery that defines the Southern Andaman Sea. Divers may encounter schools of snappers and barracuda, as well as turtles and leopard sharks on occasion. With dive environments suitable for both wide-angle and macro photography, this cruise can be enjoyed by everyone from beginners to experienced divers.

Tapana Catamaran is a catamaran-style liveaboard vessel completed in 2015.
Designed for comfort, this modern cruise vessel is equipped with luxurious features rarely found on other liveaboards, including a hydraulic platform and jacuzzi.
Inside the boat, guests can enjoy spacious shared areas such as an air-conditioned salon, open-air deck, and sun deck. Cabins are generously sized, and all rooms except the Friends Sea cabin are equipped with a private toilet and shower.
Important Information
- For groups of 4 guests or fewer, an English-speaking guide will generally be assigned. Guests requesting a Japanese guide should contact us in advance when making a reservation.
- The 4th dive may be conducted as a night dive depending on conditions.
- Airport pickup on the departure day is generally scheduled between 18:00 and 20:00.
- Guests arriving on flights after 20:00 may still board the cruise by arranging a private transfer at additional cost.
- Guests requesting airport transfer after the cruise should book flights departing after 11:00.
- A single room surcharge of 80% of the diver price applies for guests requesting private cabin use.
- After diving, at least 24 hours must pass before boarding aircraft or other transportation involving altitude changes.
- The number of dives is approximate and may be reduced depending on sea and weather conditions.
- Dive sites may change depending on sea conditions.
- Please avoid bringing valuables such as large amounts of cash or passports onto the tour unless necessary.
- Please carefully check your belongings before disembarking. Additional fees may apply for returning forgotten items.
- Guests with medical conditions, those taking medication, or those with a history of surgery may require a medical certificate and may not be able to participate. Please consult us in advance.
- For safe and enjoyable diving, guests who have not dived for over one year are strongly recommended to complete a refresh dive before joining.
- Guests using personal dive equipment should ensure that all gear has been properly serviced within the past year.
Please note that the following cancellation fees apply:
- 61 days or more before departure / 20% of the tour price
- 60 days or less before departure / 50% of the tour price
- 30 days or less before departure / 100% of the tour price
Tours will operate even in rainy weather unless conditions affect the safe operation of the boat. Cancellation fees will apply if guests cancel at their own discretion, including cancellations due to weather concerns.
Diving tour payments must be completed in advance.
Payment can be made via bank transfer or credit card.
