
Racha Yai Island is a 12 km circumference island about 1 hour from Phuket.

From May to November, the eastern side features numerous dive spots with crystal-clear waters, thriving branching corals resembling an underwater forest, white sandy bottoms with scattered reefs, three shipwrecks, and three artificial reefs built with concrete blocks.
From December to April, divers explore the western side including Siam Bay with underwater objects like elephants and the calm Bungalow Bay.

Racha Noi Island is located further south of Racha Yai and offers similarly clear waters.
From November to April, the west, north, and south points feature dynamic underwater landscapes with huge rocks reminiscent of Similan, where mantas, eagle rays, and whale sharks are often sighted, making it ideal for intermediate to advanced divers seeking both terrain and large marine life.
The western side has calm bays with white sandy bottoms, perfect for beginners or divers returning after a break. Divers may encounter resting leopard sharks and enjoy macro photography.

The main dive sites around Phi Phi are Phi Phi Leh and the nearby islands Bida Nok and Bida Nai.
The sites range from dynamic drop-offs to calm sandy bays, suitable for beginners to advanced divers.
Rich in marine life, divers can enjoy macro observations of creatures like ornate ghost pipefish and seahorses, schools of trevally and barracudas, and occasional whale shark sightings.
From December to April, speedboat tours allow landings on Phi Phi Don, sightseeing at Maya Bay made famous by films, and Monkey Beach excursions. From May to November, tours are conducted using larger diving boats.

Marine Park is a hidden reef about 1 hour 30 minutes east of Phuket by diving boat.
It features four main points: Shark Point, Anemone Reef, the large shipwreck King Cruiser, and Dok Mai Island popular among macro photographers.
Recommended for adventurous intermediate and advanced divers, the site offers dense fish schools, large sea fans, colorful soft corals, and frequent leopard shark encounters. Whale sharks appear occasionally each year.
Strong currents and free descents are common, making it suitable for divers with good buoyancy control and experience.

Kata Beach is the most diving-friendly beach environment in Phuket.
