Deep Diver Course

As you dive deeper, the no-decompression limit becomes shorter, requiring careful attention to various factors.
In the underwater world where sunlight gradually fades, mental stress can also differ from shallow dives. Yet beyond 18 meters, a completely different world awaits. Here, you can explore a magical underwater environment only visible at depths beyond 18 meters, with numerous exciting dive sites.

This course covers decompression theory, dive planning, and the underwater environment for deep diving.
You will experience the 18m–40m depth range over three dives and acquire the necessary skills.
After completing the course, you will be able to enjoy deeper dives and expand your diving experiences.

What to Do in Deep Diving

We have highlighted the practical exercises covered in this course.
In addition to the items below, deep diving offers a variety of other experiences.

Comparison of Task Time Tasks are performed on land and underwater, and the time required for each is measured and compared. Underwater, nitrogen effects may make tasks take longer.

Examples: Drawing a buddy's portrait, solving one side of a Rubik's cube, completing simple math problems, assembling simple puzzles, etc.
Depth Gauge Comparison In deep diving, the depth gauge is a crucial tool. You will stay at a specific depth and compare different depth gauges. This includes comparing your buddy’s depth gauge and dive computer. Even gauges from the same manufacturer may show different readings.
Observing Pressure Effects Compare and observe the effects of pressure on an object on land and underwater. For example, a bag of chips brought on a plane may expand. In deep diving, the bag will shrink instead. You can touch and confirm this for yourself.
Color Comparison In open water courses, you learned that colors fade underwater. Colors that appear normal on land look different at depth. The Deep Diver Course allows you to see this effect firsthand.
Other Learning You probably record air consumption in your dive log. You will learn to calculate air consumption at various depths. Additionally, you will further study emergency breathing equipment, nitrogen narcosis, and decompression sickness.
