In Thai, "Racha" means king and "Noi" means small. Although it is actually larger than Racha Yai Island, it appears smaller from Phuket due to its distance, hence the name Racha Noi. This island is less frequented for snorkeling and is mainly visited for diving. The east side has white sandy beaches with scattered coral reefs, offering a relaxing environment, while the west side features dramatic rocky terrain. Dive sites vary by season. During the rainy season, visibility often improves, rivaling the Similan Islands, and manta rays may also appear.
