[Limited from January to April] Diving at Kata Beach
Kata Beach is the most suitable beach for diving in Phuket. The reef stretches east to west from shallow waters to offshore, where you can often see tropical fish, sea turtles, and Napoleon fish. Beginners and divers with a gap in experience can dive here with confidence. It is also popular among photographers who want to take time exploring macro subjects. Beach diving can be enjoyed from January to April during the dry season.

Phuket has two main seasons: the high season from November to around April, and the green season from May to around October. During the summer months, the Indian Ocean is affected by the monsoon, causing high waves that prevent beach diving around Phuket. During the high season, diving is possible at several beaches on the island, and Kata Beach is the least affected by terrain and wind direction, allowing for stable and enjoyable diving conditions.

Kata Beach is one of the most famous beaches on Phuket’s west coast, along with Patong. It is about a 15–20 minute drive from Patong, making it convenient for those who want to plan other activities or for guests who may not be able to catch the boat dive departure on their arrival day. Diving here is easy and accessible.

Important Information
- After diving, you must wait at least 24 hours before flying or using other vehicles that involve pressure changes (for trial diving, wait at least 18 hours).
- The number of dives is indicative only and may be reduced depending on sea conditions. Please understand in advance.
- Dive sites may change without prior notice.
- During the tour, please do not bring valuables such as cash or passports other than the tour fee.
- Check your belongings before leaving the boat. Charges may apply for returning lost items. Please be aware of this in advance.
- Those with chronic illnesses, taking medications, or who have undergone surgery may not be able to participate. A medical certificate may be required, so please consult with us in advance.
- For a safe and enjoyable diving experience, those with over a one-year gap in diving are recommended to do a refresher dive beforehand.
- If using your own equipment, please ensure it has been maintained within the last year and is in good condition.
Cancellation charges for the tour are as follows:
- Up to 8 days before: Free
- 7 to 1 day before: 50% of the fee
- After 5:00 PM local time on the previous day: 100% of the fee
The tour will proceed even in rainy weather as long as it does not affect the safe operation of the boat. Please note that cancellations requested for personal reasons, including weather, will incur a cancellation fee.
Dive tour fees must be paid in advance.
Payment can be made via bank transfer or credit card.
