Diving at Racha Noi Island
Racha Noi Island is located about 30 minutes south of Racha Yai Island. The waters are clear, and encounters with large marine animals such as manta rays are not uncommon. The underwater landscape, with large boulders scattered around, is popular among divers who enjoy topography. With many dive sites available, this location offers diving experiences for beginners to experienced divers. Phuket has two main seasons: High Season from November to April and Green Season from May to October. During the summer, the Indian Ocean can be affected by monsoon winds, causing high waves on some days, which may reduce the condition at offshore dive sites. Racha Noi Island, especially the west side, northern tip, and southern tip during November–April, features dynamic underwater landscapes with large rocks similar to the Similan Islands. Divers may encounter manta rays, spotted eagle rays, and whale sharks, making it a dive site suitable for both beginners and advanced divers. The west side of Racha Noi Island has calm bays with white sandy bottoms, perfect for relaxed diving for beginners or divers returning after a break. You may spot leopard sharks lying on the sand, and the area is also excellent for macro photography.

Racha Noi Island is located further south than Racha Yai Island, about a 2-hour boat ride from Chalong Harbor in Phuket.
Among the dive sites around Phuket, it offers spots with high chances of encountering manta rays for intermediate/advanced divers, as well as sites suitable for beginners. The island is popular for both fun dives and introductory dives.

Important Information
- After diving, you must wait at least 24 hours before flying or using any transport with pressure changes (for trial dives, at least 18 hours).
- The number of dives is a guideline; actual dives may be reduced due to sea conditions. Please understand in advance.
- Dive sites may be changed without prior notice.
- For tours, do not bring valuables such as cash or passports aside from the tour fees.
- Check for personal belongings before leaving the boat. Returning lost items may incur a fee.
- If you have chronic illnesses, take medications, or have had surgery, participation may be restricted. A doctor’s certificate may be required; please consult in advance.
- For safe and enjoyable diving, those with over a year’s gap in diving are recommended to take a refresher dive beforehand.
- If using your own equipment, ensure it has been maintained within the last year and is in good condition.
Cancellations are subject to the following fees:
- Up to 8 days prior: Free
- 7 to 1 day prior: 50% of the tour fee
- After 17:00 local time the day before: 100% of the tour fee
Tours operate even in rain unless safety is affected. Cancellations for personal reasons, including weather, incur fees as listed.
Dive tour fees are to be paid in advance.
