Koh Dok Mai is located 13 km east of Chalong Bay, Phuket, between Phuket and Shark Point, approximately 1 hour by boat from Phuket. This small island consists of steep, oval-shaped rocks. Diving style is mainly wall diving. Below 20m, scattered reefs are densely covered with soft corals. Around large gorgonians and sea fans on the drop-off walls, you can see anthias and redbanded anthias swimming. Observing closely, you may spot ghost pipefish, frogfish, pygmy seahorses, and seahorses. On the east wall, small alcoves and caves appear, offering interesting topography on clear days. This site is often dived as a second dive after Shark Point or Anemone Reef. Even on windy days, diving is possible in the island's sheltered areas.
