A classic nighttime attraction in Phuket is the "Simon Cabaret Show." It is not a slapstick "ladyboy" show, but a lavish stage performance featuring beautiful transgender performers dancing and singing, making it highly popular. Post-show photo sessions are also a big hit.
The show is performed three times daily at 18:00, 19:30, and 21:00. You can attend after participating in any other optional tours. The front row (first floor) seats are VIP seats, recommended for an immersive experience close to the stage. Please note that photography inside the theater is prohibited.
After the show, performers line up at the back of the theater to see off guests. If you wish, you can take commemorative photos with your favorite performers. A small tip is customary, usually around 100–200 Baht per photo per person.
Thailand’s resorts are famous for their cabaret shows featuring transgender performers. Phuket’s most famous cabaret is Simon Cabaret, located at the edge of Patong Beach. The venue is impressive, costumes are extravagant, and the show’s quality is top-notch. The performances range from beautiful, Takarazuka-style acts to comedic sketches, presented as an omnibus. Talented transgender performers dazzle with colorful, captivating dance and song. Simon Cabaret is highly recommended and widely regarded as one of the most entertaining shows in Phuket.
