Phuket Sightseeing

On the way from Kata Beach to Chalong Bay, you will find the Phuket Shooting Range. In Phuket, as well as other tourist spots in Thailand, the Snake Farm, Crocodile Farm, and Monkey School are must-see attractions. Highly recommended for reptile enthusiasts or thrill-seekers.

At Phuket Snake Farm, there are four snake shows daily. Before the show, a short lecture explains how to identify venomous snakes, what to do if bitten, and how to react when encountering a snake. However, this information is generally not critical for regular tourists. Thailand is home to various venomous snakes, including the King Cobra (which is also found in Phuket), but encounters with a King Cobra are extremely rare for visitors, so no worries. Thailand also has pythons.
Then the show begins. The staff performs thrilling acts such as kissing cobras and letting pythons wrap around their bodies. The show is exciting just to watch. Snake shows are not available in Japan, and the presentation is in easy-to-understand English with a bit of Japanese, making it enjoyable. Visitors can also have a python draped around their neck for commemorative photos if they wish.

The family-favorite "Monkey School" is located at the same site. Charming monkeys ride bicycles, dive to collect coconuts, and perform in natural tropical settings. Visitors can also take commemorative photos with the monkeys if desired.
